RNG Adirondack Project
Project Overview
The Adirondack RNG Project is a dairy-derived renewable natural gas (RNG) project located in Peru, NY. The Project utilizes anaerobic digestion to generate and capture biogas produced from the manure of over 6,000 dairy cows and heifers located at Adirondack Farms. The anaerobic digester and electricity generation equipment were originally installed in 2017 and the RNG Project scope involved the conversion from electricity to RNG production through the addition of biogas upgrading equipment and the optimization of the anaerobic digester to increase manure throughput. The Project is a partnership with BerQ RNG and is the first brownfield RNG conversion by Inlandsis.
